The Work Uniform

You know what can be harder than getting out of bed for work... getting dressed for work!

After getting sick this week, and feeling nauseous and fatigued literally every day after, this statement really rang true. Luckily, I had my work go-to's for outfits ready, and if you were following my Instagram stories this week you would have got a glimpse into what they are. However, I particularly wanted to share this look because

a) it's comfortable
b) it suits pretty much any work situation, and
c) it's affordable

These WHITE pants (which caused some confusion in my office/Instagram for some people who thought they were blue in photos) can be worn with your favourite slides or heels, while this little mustard sweater is just an excellent basic, and I would recommend stocking up on colours!

What I also love about these pieces is that you can mix-and-match, which is pretty much how I calculate my entire work wardrobe. Whenever I am buying something I make sure it goes with at least 3 other items in my cupboard, which I find always works if you have block coloured pants and skirts. Then, to make the look a little more fun I might add a statement jacket, jewellery, or a pair of cool shoes!

If you missed it and want to see my 5 day work week looks, head to the STYLE story on my Instagram. I would love to hear your feedback!
